Alex Kofi Agyekum is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Mpohor Constituency in the Western Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

He was born on born August 18 1962.

He obtained a B.A from the University of Cape Coast as well as an M.ED Management and a Diploma in Education.

Between 1991 and 1992, he worked as a teaching and research assistant at University of Cape Coast. He was the head of the department for economics in Holy Child School from 1993 to 2003, and was the assistant headmaster at Holy Child School from 2003 to 2013.
