Ejisu By-Election: Police arrest man for allegedly taking pictures of his ballot paper

The Ghana Police Service has reportedly arrested a voter who allegedly took pictures of his ballot paper while in the voting booth during the ongoing Ejisu parliamentary by-election.

The incident took place at a polling station in Krapa, a suburb of Ejisu.

According to an eyewitness, the accused, a man, pulled out his phone in the voting booth and started recording himself.

The witness stated that police officers intervened and apprehended the individual. She mentioned that after the arrest, the officers left the polling station with the man in custody.

A video from the scene showed a commotion at the polling station, with people being escorted into a police vehicle.

The footage also captured police officers leaving the polling station with a man in their vehicle, identified by the witness as the person caught recording his vote.
