Christians now focus more on social media than the Bible, they act like there is no hell - Eastwood Anaba

The head of Fountain Gate Chapel, Reverend Eastwood Anaba, has delivered a serious admonition concerning the prioritization of social media over the study of the Bible.

He has observed that it has become commonplace for people to devote the majority of their time to social media, tracking the latest trends rather than focusing on spiritual growth.

He cautioned that such behavior is unsuitable for Christians, as it diverts their focus from God.

He pointed out that the sway of social media leads many to invest more time in online activities than in reading the Bible to fortify themselves with God's teachings.

The clergyman also stated that social media's influence has led some to act as though they will not be held accountable in the afterlife.

“Social media has taken you away from your Bible. The number of times you read your Bible is less than the time you spend on Facebook and Instagram. Some of you stay on the thing [social media] from one to another. When was the last time you sat in front of the Word of God for even an hour?

“Today I'm calling a church to repentance. I'm calling a church and declaring that it is time for revival. It looks like we are too happy. It looks like there is no hell, and it looks like there is no heaven. But I came to announce to somebody that it is appointed unto man to die once, and after that there is judgement. Judgement is coming, so you better get your life in order,” he said while preaching to his congregants.
